Regnum Christi, Latin for “the Kingdom of Christ," is a worldwide Catholic movement that exists to help lay people live out their baptismal call to holiness and mission. The Regnum Christi Federation consists of four vocations: Lay Consecrated Women, Lay Consecrated Men, priests (The Legion of Christ), and lay people (single and married). CONSECRATED WOMEN IN HOUSTON
Being consecrated to God means God has set us apart, living a lifestyle that differs from the ordinary lay lifestyle. We embrace evangelical poverty, obedience, and chastity while living in a community with a local and regional superior. We have communities in over 26 countries. The Legionaries of Christ is a Roman Catholic religious congregation of priests and seminarians and part of the Regnum Christi Federation. Regnum Christi members are called to be the salt of the earth and a beacon of light at home, at work, and within their communities. Regnum Christi strives to be on the front lines of Christian leadership in order to form the next generation of apostles. The Women of the Greater Houston Section build teams of mission-centered Catholics who seek effective ways to love Christ, serve others, and build the Church.
